AI Video Generation: Why It’s Not Ready for Movies — But Perfect for Deepfakes

I’ve been following AI advancements closely, and while I’m amazed by what AI video generation can do, I also see its limits very clearly. Many people are hyping AI tools as if they can already replace filmmaking or create professional movie scenes. From my perspective, we’re nowhere near that point yet. Instead, most of the progress I see is being misused — not in making cinema, but in making deepfakes. AI Video Is Still Too Raw for Real Filmmaking Yes, AI can generate short clips, animations, or even realistic faces. But let’s be honest — when it comes to full movie scenes, it simply isn’t ready.
